A Fistful of Dollars Everybody likes movies of one sort or another. Women tend to enjoy more emotional, character-driven dramas; guys like lots of blood & guts with things blowing up. Most people enjoy a good comedy. In fact there are so many movies and such a huge range that there is something for everyone. There are horror movies which some love and others hate.

My own tastes go in different directions, but right now I'm tending to seek out older, more marginalized features, such as lower-budget or foreign films. Modern American movies all look and sound alike to me - and while I love some modern film series (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter) and filmmakers (Tim Burton, Wes Anderson), a good 98% of what's out there seems to be crap. So, I seek out the older, the foreign, the overlooked and the unusual. You can read about some interesting movies of the past in this section.
